from a trip to Chapel Trail Nature Preserve Park in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
The Chapel
Trail Nature Preserve is a free family friendly attraction located
in southwestern Broward County that features a 1650 foot long
boardwalk through 450 acres of wetlands. To reach the Chapel Trail Nature Preserve Park, set your GPS unit for 19800 Sheridan Street, Pembroke Pines, FL 33026. Or just look for the sign in the picture above on the South side of Sheridan St. just West of NW 196th Avenue. There is plenty of free parking at Chapel Trail Nature Preserve. Visitors are welcome at the park from Monday through Sunday 7:30 AM to dusk every day of the year. Canoe rentals are available on Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Renting a canoe costs $15 for 4 hours or $25 for the entire day. |

Some of the animals that are commonly seen at Chapel Trail Nature Preserve include marsh rabbits, American alligators, turtles, largemouth bass, deer, and a variety of bird species. For more information about the park, call (954) 443-4861. | ||
