Visitors are welcome at Jonathan Dickinson State Park from 8 AM till sunset every day of the year. The price of admission is $6 per vehicle (2-8 people), $4 for a single occupant vehicle or motorcycles, and $2 for pedestrians or bicyclists. Camp sites cost $26 per night.

Some of the recreational oppurtunities available at the park include river tours, kayak rentals, canoe rentals, hiking, bird watching, off-road biking, camping, fishing (license required), picnicking and wildlife viewing.
