Since my visit, Moroso Motorsports Park has
closed down the motocross track in March of 2008. The complex's name has
also been changed to Palm Beach International Raceway. The drag strip, go
kart and street road course are still open. |

| After
attending the
Ter-Tech Drifting Event held over on the road course section of
Moroso Motorsports Park, I walked over to the Motocross Track. There were more than a dozen riders circling the track on a variety of dirt bikes and ATVs (four wheel all terrain vehicles). The management of Moroso Motorsports Park, now known as Palm Beach International Raceway, chose to close down the dirt track in March of 2008. Apparently the decision was made due to low rider turnout, increasing insurance costs, equipment costs, maintenance costs and the need for more parking spaces. If you're looking for a place to ride in South Florida, check out the Seminole Tribe Motocross Track located in Big Cypress. |
