| The Anne
Kolb Nature Center was opened in 1996 in the 1,500+ acre coastal
mangrove wetland preserve known as West Lake Park. Some of the features of the nature center include an exhibit hall, the Mangrove Hall for events, guided pontoon boat tours, kayak and canoe rentals, an observation tower, several walking trails, a fishing pier, elevated boardwalks, and an amphitheater. Admission to the main exhibit hall is just $1 per person where you can admire local aquatic wildlife in the aquariums, nature themed art work, interactive displays and a ten minute educational video presentation. The Anne Kolb Nature Center in West Lake Park is located at 751 Sheridan Street, Hollywod, FL 33019. To reach the staff by phone, call (954) 926-2480. Visitors are welcome at the nature center from 9 AM to 5 PM every day of the week. |
