There are three bulbs inside the rear dome light of a 2007 to 2010 Ford Edge CUV. Replacement bulbs are part # 578 from Sylvania and other manufacturers.

If you would like to have brighter dome lights, install some compatible 578 LED bulbs.

The only needed to replace the bulb is a small flathead screwdriver or a plastic pry bar tool.

A car key, coin or butter knife would also work well.

Try to avoid letting the lens cover fall just in case it might hit something and break.

To remove the faulty light bulb, pry it out with the screwdriver or pull it out with your fingers.

Then push in a new # 578 bulb and test it before snapping the lens cover back in place.

(Tip - If you are installing an LED bulb and it doesn't work at first, try flipping it around in the socket.)
