Bayshore
Boulevard - Tampa, FL
Pictures & visitor information from a
driving tour of Bayshore Blvd located by Hillsborough Bay in Tampa, Florida.
Bayshore
Boulevard is a popular recreational area for joggers, bicyclists,
runners, dog walkers and skaters located alongside Hillsborough Bay in
Tampa, FL. It is known as the world's longest continuous sidewalk since it spans about 4.5 miles (7.2 KM) without interruption from Gandy Blvd to Colombus Statue Park. The pictures on this page show our driving tour of Bayshore Blvd starting near the center, continuing North to Downtown Tampa, and then back South to Gandy Blvd. Along the way we admired the upscale condominium towers, the historic homes, the newer mansions, the manicured landscaping and the view of Downtown Tampa across Hillsborough Bay. Bayshore Boulevard is also known for hosting the annual Gasparilla Pirate Festival parade. |
