South Beach Park is a popular spot for local beachgoers and tourists visiting the Boca Raton area. It is conveniently located just a few miles from Interstate 95 at the end of Palmetto Park Blvd.

Although it shares the same name, don't confuse this park with the South Beach or "SoBe" area of Miami, FL.

South Beach Park's address is 400 North Ocean Blvd (A1A), Boca Raton, FL 33432. To reach the staff by phone, call (561) 393-7820. Visitors are welcome from 8 AM to sundown every day of the year.

The major attraction here is the half mile stretch of beach with golden sand. There are also nature walks and fishing is allowed outside of normal swimming hours. Picknickers will find facilities at the nearby Red Reef and Spanish River parks.

Residents of the city of Boca Raton or other areas of Palm Beach County can purchase a beach parking permit for $37 per year. Visitors are charged $15 to park on weekdays and $17 on weekends or holidays.
