Rather than try to buy parts to fix one little problem on a toilet with a water leak, I purchased the Fluidmaster Complete Repair Kit at Home Depot for about $20. I figured that it would make more sense to replace all of the old parts in the toilet tank rather than just the flapper valve that is currently causing a problem.

Anaeho’omalu Beach – Big Island, Hawaii
Anaeho’omalu or “A-Bay” was just one of the beautiful beaches that we visited during our stay on the Big Island of Hawaii. This stretch of golden brown sand is located on the Kona side of the Big Island on the Kohala Coast. This picturesque beach is definitely a great place for swimming or sunbathing, but we found better snorkeling at other beaches in the area. For more, click on the text link or thumbnail image below.
Jungle Queen Riverboat Sightseeing Cruise
We were fortunate to win two tickets for the Jungle Queen Riverboat BBQ Dinner Cruise at a charity event recently. I traded them in for two 9:30 AM sightseeing cruise tickets instead so that I could get better shots of the expansive mansions and luxury yachts on the Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal Waterway and New River. Chevy Malibu Brake Lights On & Pedal Up
If the brake lights and brake pedal on your 2004 to 2007 GM Chevrolet Malibu aren’t working properly, you may need to clean off some corrosion on one of the computer’s connectors.
Symptoms of this problem include that the brake lights illuminate immediately after turning on the car without you touching the brake pedal, the brake lights work “backwards” (you hit the brake pedal & the lights turn off), the cruise control doesn’t work or gets turned off, and it may be difficult to shift the car from Park into Reverse or Drive without having to push the brake pedal all the way down.
