This
automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist
owners of the second generation (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 &
2014) Nissan Murano SUV in changing the front windshield window
wiper blades. Owners of other Nissan or Infiniti vehicles such as the Versa, Maxima, Juke, Rogue, Altima, Xterra, Pathfinder, Sentra, Cube, Armada, Leaf, Quest, Frontier, Teana, 370Z, GT-R, Titan, G25, G37, M35, QX56, QX60 and M37 may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. A replacement bulb is part number 2825, which is available from various manufacturers such as Sylvania, GE, Eiko and PIAA. You may also use any other miniature wedge base bulbs such as the # 158, 168, W5W, 194 or a compatible LED unit. The tools needed to access the bulb sockets include a small flathead screwdriver and a plastic automotive pry bar panel removal tool. |

To access the
license plate light bulbs, you'll need to remove the plastic panel attached
to the back side of the tailgate door. Open the tailgate door and locate the four round plastic fasteners on the bottom edge of the panel, which will be facing out towards you. There are two fasteners on the left of the latch mechanism and the other two are on the right side of the latch. Gently push in the center part of each fastener before prying out the base with a small flathead screwdriver. |
