While waiting for our Snorkeling Tour to depart, we walked around the grounds of John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park.

The park features a small beach, a water sports office, and a visitors center.

Inside the visitors center, there are educational displays and aquariums filled with various local aquatic life.

Some of the services offered inside the water sports office include snorkeling tours ($29.95), scuba diving tours ($60), glassbottom boat tours ($24), and kayak or canoe rentals ($12 to $17 per hour).
