WonderCon was held in Los
Angeles for the first time this year at the LA Convention Center
near the Staples Center. In previous years, it was held in San Francisco and most recently in Anaheim, Orange County, CA. The highlight of this event is all of the comic book, science fiction movie and TV show "cosplay" (costume play) by the eclectic collection of attendees. We went to the show on Sunday, which is the last day of the convention so badges were a bargain at only $18 per person. Parking was $20 at a small lot right across the street from the convention center. It seemed like the smarter people reserved their parking ahead of time by using the Parking Panda website or smartphone app. |
