This automotive maintenance "how-to" guide was specifically written to assist owners of the XV40 generation 2007 to 2011 Toyota Camry sedan in replacing a burnt out fog light bulb.

Owners of other similar Toyota, Lexus or Scion vehicles such as the Corolla, Matrix, Yaris, Avalon, Venza, RAV4, FJ Cruiser, Highlander, 4Runner, Sequoia, Land Cruiser, Tacoma, Sienna, Aurion, IS 250, IS 350, ES 350, GS 350, LS 460, tC, xB, xD, iQ and may also find guide to be helpful.

A replacement bulb for the fog lights of a 2007 to 2011 Toyota Camry is part # H11 from various manufacturers including Sylvania, GE, Wagner, Eiko, Osram and PIAA.

If you would like to have brighter fog lights, install some compatible H11 LED bulbs.

The only tool needed to replace the fog light bulb is a small flathead screwdriver used to pry out the plastic pop rivet fasteners that hold the wheel well liner in place.

Pull Back Wheel Well Liner
The easiest way to access the fog light bulbs is from behind through the wheel well liner. Turn the front wheels in the opposite direction of the burnt out fog light bulb you need to replace in order to make more room in the wheel well.

Use the small flathead screwdriver to pry out two of the black plastic fasteners holding the wheel well liner in place. Then pull back the wheel well liner until you can see the rear of the fog light housing.

Insert New Bulb In Housing
Replace the old bulb with a new # H11 12 volt 55 watt bulb. Push the power connector plug on to the base of the new bulb.

Try to avoid touching the glass part of the halogen bulb with your fingers. If you do get the glass part of the bulb dirty, wipe it off with an alcohol moistened paper towel.

Insert the new bulb into the fog light housing and rotate the base 1/4 turn clockwise to secure it in place.
