Hyundai Tucson Headlight Bulbs Replacement Guide
How to change a low/high beam, turn signal or side marker light bulb in the headlights of a 2010 to 2015 Hyundai Tucson.

1/4 Turn Counterclockwise
This automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the 2nd generation (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015) Hyundai Tucson SUV in changing a burnt out combination low & high beam, front turn signal or front side marker light bulbs in the headlight assemblies.

Owners of other Hyundai and Kia vehicles such as the Accent, Elantra, Sonata, Azera, Veloster, Tiburon, Genesis, Lavita, Veracruz, Santa Fe, ix35, Equus, Cadenza, Forte, Optima, Rio, Soul, Sedona, Sorento, Spectra and Sportage may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful.

Replacement bulbs for the 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013 Tucson with their part numbers are as follows: Dual Low/High Beam # 9003, Front Turn Signal # 2357A or 2357NA and Rear Side Marker Light # 2825.

Replacement bulbs for the revised or "refreshed" 2014 and 2015 Tucson models with their part numbers are as follows: Low/High Beam # 9012 or 9012LL, Turn Signal # 2357A or 2357NA and Front Side Marker # 2825.

No tools are needed to change any bulb in either the driver or passenger side headlights assemblies of the SUV.

1/4 Turn Counterclockwise
The first two steps are to open the hood and then move to the side of the SUV with the burnt out headlight bulb.

The dual Low & High Beam bulb is located near the center of the headlight assembly.

Reach in to the engine bay behind the headlight and rotate the round black plastic dust cover 1/4 turn counterclockwise before removing it.

Rotate the base of the old headlight bulb 1/4 turn counterclockwise before removing it from the socket.

Press Tab - Release Clip

Old Bulb Disconnected
Press the release tab on the electrical connector before pulling it straight off the base of the old headlight bulb.

Push On Power Plug
Try to avoid touching the glass part of the new halogen bulb with your fingers or anything greasy in the engine bay.

If you do get the new bulb dirty, wipe it clean with an alcohol moistened paper towel.

Push the electrical connector straight on to the base of the new 9012 bulb until it clicks securely in to place.

(For the 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013 Tucson model years, use a # 9003 low/high beam headlight bulb.)

1/4 Turn Clockwise - Lock

Replace Cover - 1/4 Turn C
Insert the new headlight bulb in to the housing and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to secure it in place.

Replace the round black plastic dust cover and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to lock it in place.

1/4 Turn Counterclockwise
The Front Turn Signal light bulb is located near the inner corner of the headlight assembly.

Reach in behind the housing and rotate the black plastic turn signal light bulb socket 1/4 turn counterclockwise before pulling it straight out.

Push Down & Rotate Bulb

Turn Signal Socket Housing
Push the old bulb down in to the socket and rotate it 1/4 turn counterclockwise before pulling it straight out.

Push a new amber colored # 2357A or 2357NA bulb down in to the socket and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to lock it in place.

Side Marker Bulb Socket
Re-insert the turn signal light bulb socket in to the housing and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to lock it in place.

The Front Side Marker light bulb is located near the outer of the headlight housing.

Reach in behind the housing and rotate the small round black plastic side marker bulb socket 1/4 turn counterclockwise.

Pull the side marker bulb socket straight out of the housing.

Test New Headlight Bulbs
Pull the old side marker bulb straight out of the socket and push in a new # 2825 or W5W miniature wedge base bulb.

You can also use a brighter 2825 LED bulb.

Re-insert the socket in to the headlight housing and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to secure it in place.
