This
automotive maintenance "how-to" guide was specifically written to
assist owners of the 5th generation 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 &
2016 Hyundai Elantra in replacing
a burnt out overhead map light bulb. Owners of other Hyundai or Kia vehicles such as the Accent, Sonata, Azera, Veloster, Tucson, Santa Fe, Veracruz, Genesis, Forte, Optima, Rio, Soul, Sorento, Sportage, i10, i20, i30, i35, i40, Tiburon, Avante and Sedona may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. A replacement festoon or "fuse" style map light bulb for the Elantra is part # DE3175 or just "3175". (Or an LED bulb.)If your Elantra instead has wedge base map light bulbs the replacement parts are # 168, 194 or 2825 bulbs. The only tool needed to replace the map light bulbs is a small flathead screwdriver used to pry out the lens cover. |
