wiper blades on a 5th generation 2010 to 2015 GM Chevrolet Camaro.

This
automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist
owners of the fifth generation (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015)
GM Chevrolet Camaro in changing the front windshield window wiper
blades. Owners of other General Motors vehicles such as the Spark, Cruze, Malibu, Sonic, Impala, Traverse, Tahoe, Trax, SS, GMC Terrain, Acadia, Yukon, Buick Verano, Regal, LaCrosse, Encore, Enclave and the Holden Barina may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. The replacement blade sizes in inches are as follows: Driver Side 24" and Passenger Side 21". A few compatible wiper blades with their part numbers include the following: Bosch 24-CA & Bosch 21-CA. Anco C-24-UB & Anco C-21-UB, Rain-X Latitude 5079280-1 & Rain-X Latitude 5079278-1, Valeo 600-24 & Valeo 600-21, Michelin 8524 & Michelin 8521 and Trico 25-240 & Trico 25-210. |

The first step is
to lift the wiper arm off the windshield until it remains in the raised
position by itself. Gently pry open the black plastic locking tab on the old wiper blade just above the metal hook by using a small flathead screwdriver. |

![]() Rotate Old Blade At Angle |
Swing the lock tab
up to release the old wipe blade. Rotate the old wiper blade away from the wiper arm at a slight angle. Pull the old wiper blade down to slide the plastic mounting bracket out of the metal hook at the end of the wiper arm. |

![]() Line Up New Blade & Hook |
Place a towel on
the windshield to protect the window from being cracked, scratched, chipped
or shattered just in case the metal wiper arm smacks down on the glass while
you are replacing the wiper blade. I recommend buying the Bosch 24-CA and Bosch 21-CA wiper blades since they have great reviews on Amazon. Line up the opening in the center of the new wiper blade with the metal hook at the end of the wiper arm. |

![]() Rotate Blade Parallel To Arm |
Insert the hook
through the opening in the new wiper blade. Rotate the wiper blade until it is almost parallel with the wiper arm. |

Pull the new wiper
blade up and slide the plastic mounting bracket in to the hook. Swing the plastic locking tab down and snap it back in to place. |

![]() Lower Wiper Arm To Windshield |
Double check that
the new wiper blade is securely installed. Gently lower the wiper arm down to the windshield. For the best wiper performance, I'd recommend thoroughly cleaning off the windshield and treating it with a window treatment product such as Rain-X. For more,
