This
automotive tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the
third generation MK III (2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014) Ford Focus in
changing the front windshield window wiper blades. Owners of other similar Ford sedan or hatchback vehicles such as the Fusion, Fiesta, Taurus, C-Max, and Taurus may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. Both the driver side and passenger side windshield wiper blades are 28" in size. The owner's manual lists the replacement Motorcraft part numbers as Driver Side WW-2802-PF and Passenger Side WW-2803-PF. Other compatible wiper blades that are 28 inches long with their part numbers are as follows: Bosch 28OE. Bosch 28-CA, Rain-X 5079282-1, Anco C-28-OE, Rain-X Repel Premium # 5079282, Michelin 8528, Trico 25-280 and ACDelco 28ACD. (The rear windshield wiper blade size for hatchback models is 12". Part numbers Motorcraft WW-1204 or Michelin 9512.) |

The first step is
to raise the wiper arm perpendicular to the windshield. Place a towel on the windshield to protect the glass from becoming cracked or chipped just in case the metal wiper arm smacks down when the blade is removed. Rotate the old wiper blade away from the arm to access the two black plastic release tabs. Squeeze together the tabs and continue rotating the wiper blade away from the arm and lift it off the metal hook at the end. I always buy either the Bosch 28OE or Bosch 28-CA wiper blades since they have excellent reviews on Amazon. |

Insert the metal

Make sure the two
black plastic retaining tabs on the new blade are securely in place on the
wiper arm. Lower the wiper arm down to the windshield and repeat the process to replace the passenger side blade. For the best wiper performance, I recommend thoroughly cleaning off the windshield and applying a window treatment product such as Rain-X. For more,
