This
automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist
owners of the sixth generation (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014,
2015 and possibly also the 2016 model year) Ford Fiesta hatchback in
replacing the rear windshield window wiper blade. Owners of other Ford or Lincoln SUV, crossover or minivan vehicles such as the Focus, C-Max, Escape, Transit Connect, Edge, Flex, Explorer, Expedition, EcoSport, MKC, MKX, MKT and the Navigator may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. The OEM rear wiper is 12" (inches) in size. A few compatible rear wiper blades with their part numbers are as follows: Motorcraft WW-1204, Silblade RB112-B, AutoTex AP-R12, Bosch H402 and Anco AR-12E. |

Lift Arm Off Window |
Rotate Blade Away From Arm |
Pop Bar Out of Socket |
The first step is
to gently pull the plastic cover off the base of the wiper arm. Set the plastic cover aside in a safe place. Then lift the wiper arm off the rear window until it remains in the raised position by itself. Rotate the old wiper blade away the wiper arm until it is almost perpendicular. Continue rotating the old wiper blade to pop the mounting bar out of the "C" shaped socket at the end of the wiper arm. |

Line Up Bar & Socket |
I recommend buying
the Ford OEM Motorcraft
WW-1204 wiper blade since it has excellent reviews on
Amazon. Line up the mounting bar in the center of the new wiper blade with the "C" shaped socket at the end of the wiper arm. |

Insert Bar In To "C" Socket |
Pop Bar In Socket |
Lower Blade To Window |
Insert the mounting
bar in to the socket. Rotate the wiper blade until it is almost parallel to the wiper arm with the rubber strip pointing towards the window. Gently lower the wiper arm to the rear window. |

Line Up Plastic Cover |
Pop Cap Over Base |
Rear Wiper Blade Replaced |
Line up the plastic
cover over the base of the wiper arm and gently pop it back in to place. For the best wiper performance, I'd recommend thoroughly cleaning off the back window and applying a product such as Rain-X or Zaino Bro. Glass Polish. For more,
