This automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Dodge Dart in changing a burnt out license plate light bulb located in the rear bumper cover.

Owners of other Chrysler, Dodge and RAM vehicles such as the Town & Country, 300, 200, Avenger, Charger, Journey, Challenger, Durango, Grand Caravan, and Ram C/V Tradesman minivan may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful.

The replacement bulb part number is 168 (or W5W).

If necessary, you may also use any other miniature wedge base bulbs such as the # 2825, 158, 194 or a compatible LED unit.

The only tool needed to access and replace the light bulb is a Torx T25 star bit screwdriver.
