The
Auckland Botanic Gardens are located about 25km (20 minutes) from
the CBD of Auckland in the Manurewa suburb of Manukau City. This free family friendly attraction covers about 158 acres (64 hectares) of land that features more than 10,000 colorful flowers and plants. To reach the Auckland Botanic Gardens from the CBD, take the Southern Motorway (SH1) south and get off at the Manurewa/Hill Road exit. Turn left onto Hill Road and look for the entrance to the gardens on the left. Visitors are welcome at the gardens every day of the year from 8 AM to 8 PM (daylight saving hours) and 8 AM to 6 PM (non- daylight saving hours). |
