| One of the
most popular attractions at the Atlantis Resort, Hotel & Casino
located on Paradise Island in the
Bahamas is the massive Aquaventure
Water Park. The Aquaventure water park features nine thrilling water slides, the mile long Lazy River Ride, the rapids, and almost a dozen different pools. All of this soaking wet fun is spread over 141 acres and contains more than seven million gallons of water. Aquaventure has the distinction of being the largest water park in the Caribbean. Aquaventure is free for guests of the Atlantis Resort. A limited number of day passes are available for visitors at a cost of $110 for adults and $80 for children. The park is open from 9 AM to 5PM (winter) or 7PM (summer). Adrenaline junkies can take the plunge down the slides starting at 10 AM. |

| The slides at the Aquaventure Water Park include four in the Power Tower and five in The Mayan Temple. Their names are The Abyss, The Drop, The Falls, The Surge, The Leap of Faith, Serpent, Jungle and two different Challenger Slides. | ||

| During our few days at the Atlantis Resort, I captured a variety of video clips of the Aquaventure Water Park and later edited them together into one short movie. They were captured with a Canon 300 HS digital camera inside a Canon WP-DC41 waterproof case. To view the video clip, click on the blue link below.
