OEM Rear Wiper Blade
This automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the "JL" fourth generation (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023) Jeep Wrangler SUV in changing a worn out rear wiper blade located on the back windshield window.

Owners of other Jeep, Dodge and RAM vehicles such as the Grand Cherokee, Compass, Renegade, Gladiator, Cherokee, Grand Wagoneer, Wagoneer, Charger, Challenger, Durango, RAM 1500, Promaster, 2500 and 3500 may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful.

The OEM (original equipment manufacturer) wiper blade size in inches is 12" and the part number is Mopar 68362105AA.

A few compatible replacement aftermarket wiper blades with their part numbers are as follows: Bosch H306, Trico 12-B, Michelin 9512 and Silblade RB112-E.

No tools are needed to access and replace the rear wiper blade.

The first step is to open the tailgate door in order to move the spare tire out of the way.

Carefully rotate the old wiper blade away from the wiper arm.

Once you start to feel some resistance, continue rotating the wiper arm to pop the mounting bar in the center of the blade out of the "C" shaped socket at the end of the wiper arm.

Slide the old wiper blade off the end of the wiper arm.

Take a moment to look at the mounting bar and two guide pegs in the center of the old wiper blade.

Line Up New Wiper Blade
The OEM (original equipment manufacturer) wiper blade was 12 inches long and the part number is Mopar 68362105AA.

I've always had good experiences with the Bosch brand of wiper blades, so I recommend buying the Bosch H306 12" rear wiper blade.

Line up the new wiper blade with the wiper arm.

The rubber blade should be pointing out away from the back windshield window.

The two guide "pegs" or "nubs" should be closer to the vehicle and lined up with the curved slots on the wiper arm.

Pass the end of the wiper arm through the opening in the center of the new wiper blade.

Rotate the new wiper blade towards the wiper arm until you feel some resistance.

Continue rotating the new wiper blade until you feel the mounting bar "snap" into the "C" shaped socket at the end of the wiper arm.

Lower Blade To Window
Double check that the new wiper blade is securely attached to the wiper arm.

Rotate the blade until it is parallel with the wiper arm.

Gently lower the new blade down against the back window.

For the best wiper performance, I recommend thoroughly cleaning off the window and applying a glass treatment product such as Rain-X which will help repel water.

Be sure to write down the procedure in your vehicle's service records.
