This 2018 Cruze LT is equipped with standard mini blade electrical fuses.

There should be a white plastic fuse puller tool attached to the engine bay electrical panel.

If the tool is missing, you could instead use a pair of needle nose pliers equipped with rubber insulated handles.

The first two steps are to open the hood and move to the right (driver) side of the engine bay.

The rectangular shaped black plastic fuse box is situated behind the driver side headlight housing and in front of the black plastic cowl near the windshield.

Gently squeeze or "pinch" together the two tabs on each retaining clip to release it.

Repeat this process for the retaining clips located at the front edge, left side and right side of the fuse box cover.

Turn over the cover to view the fuse and relay location diagram.

There is also a fuse location diagram in the owner's manual.

There should be a white plastic fuse puller tool attached to the middle of the right edge of the fuse block.

Pull the fuse puller tool straight out of its socket.

Insert your fingers into the opening in the top of the access cover and gently pull it straight out.

Try to avoid using excessive force.

The trim cover should pop out relatively easily.

Another fuse location diagram is also included in the owner's manual.

Pinch the end of the white plastic fuse puller tool to open the jaws.

(If the tool is missing, you could use a pair of needle nose pliers that have rubber insulated handles.)

Pull it straight out of the socket.

To check the condition of the old fuse, hold it up to a light bulb.

If the thin metal strip or "band" in the translucent plastic center of the old fuse appears to be burnt or broken, the old fuse is most likely "blown" and should be replaced with a new fuse of the same amperage rating.

Push a new mini blade electrical fuse of the same amperage rating (e.g. 5A, 10A, 15A, 20 Amps) straight into the socket.

If the thin metal wire bar in the middle of the old fuse appears to be intact, the old fuse is probably still in good working condition.

Since new fuses are so inexpensive, I'd still recommend replacing the fuse as part of your electrical issue troubleshooting process.

If you'd like to install a hard wired 12V power source for an automotive accessory such as a radar detector, boost gauge, dash cam (camera), GPS navigation device, cell phone charger or an LED lighted Lyft / Uber dashboard sign, purchase an "Add-A-Circuit" Fuse Tap (also known as a piggy-back fuse adapter).

You can either choose a circuit that has constant 12 volt power or a circuit that is only "live" when the ignition switch is in the "On" position.

To find a suitable circuit, use a digital multimeter tool to see if the circuit provides constant 12V power even when the car is off or only turns on when the car's ignition is switched on.

You could also use a digital multimeter to check the old relay.

To replace the interior fuse block trim cover, first re-insert the tabs on the bottom edge near the 12V power outlet and USB ports.

Then gently snap in the retaining clips on the top edge of the cover.

Lower the engine bay fuse box cover straight over the electrical panel.

Push on the cover to secure the three retaining clips.

You should feel or hear the clips "click" securely into place.

Test the electrical component that you were having problems with such as the headlights, horn, stereo / radio, power windows, power driver seat, windshield wipers, brake lights, interior lights, 12V power outlet or power door locks.

If you are still having the same issue, there may be a shorted out wire or the electrical component itself needs to be replaced.

Be sure to record any fuse change in your vehicle's service records.
