This
automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist
owners of the third generation (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and probably
also the updated 2019 & 2020 model years) Nissan Murano SUV in
changing the rear wiper blade on the back windshield window. Owners of other Nissan and Infiniti vehicles such as the Rogue, Pathfinder, Armada, Versa, Sentra, Altima, Maxima, Leaf, 370Z, GT-R, Frontier, Titan, NV200, Q50, Q70, Q60, QX30, QX50, QX60, QX70 and QX80 may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. The OEM rear window wiper blade size in inches is 12". A few compatible replacement rear wiper blades with their part numbers are as follows: Anco AR-12B, Trico 12-B, Bosch H306, Valeo R12D and ACDelco 8-212B. No tools are needed to remove the old wiper blade and install the new one. |

Blade Perpendicular To Arm |
The first step is
to gently lift the rear wiper blade off the back windshield window. Hold the wiper arm in the raised position while you rotate the old wiper blade away from the wiper arm. Continue rotating the old wiper blade away from the wiper arm until the mounting bar in the center of the blade pops out of the "C" shaped socket at the end of the wiper arm. |

Line Up New Blade & Arm |
With the old wiper
blade at a perpendicular (90 degree) angle to the wiper arm, pull the old
wiper blade off the arm. Don't allow the rear wiper arm to smack down on to the back window to prevent it from scratching, cracking, chipping or shattering the glass. I recommend buying the Anco AR-12B rear wiper blade since it has excellent reviews on Amazon. Line up the mounting bar and two small pegs or "nubs" in the center of the new wiper blade with the "C" shaped socket at the end of the wiper arm. |

Rotate Blade Towards Arm |
Blade Parallel With Arm |
Pass
the end of the wiper arm through the opening in the center of the new wiper
blade. The rubber blade should be pointing out away from the rear of the SUV. Rotate the new wiper blade towards the wiper arm. Gently snap the mounting bar into the "C" shaped socket at the end of the wiper arm. Continue rotating the new wiper blade until it is parallel with the wiper arm. |

Lower Arm To Window |
New Wiper Blade Installed |
Double check that
the new wiper blade is securely attached to the wiper arm. Carefully lower the wiper blade and arm back down to the window. For the best wiper performance, I highly recommend cleaning off the back window and applying a glass treatment product that will repel water such as Rain-X. Be sure to record the rear wiper blade change in your vehicle's service records. For more,
