wiper blades on a 4th generation 2013-2016 Toyota RAV4 with part numbers.

This
automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist
owners of the fourth generation (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and maybe
also the refreshed 2017 model year) Toyota RAV4 SUV in changing the
windshield window wiper blades. Owners of other Toyota, Lexus or Scion vehicles such as the Yaris, Matrix, Prius, Camry, Corolla, Sienna, Tacoma, Tundra, FJ Cruiser, Venza, Highlander, Avalon, Sequoia, Land Cruiser, IS 250, ES 350, GS 350, tC, xB, xD, iQ and FR-S may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. The OEM wiper blades are the following sizes in inches: Driver Side 26" and Passenger Side 16". A few compatible replacement wiper blades with their part numbers are as follows: Anco C-26-UB & Anco C-16-UB, Trico 25-260 & Trico 25-160, Bosch 26A & Bosch 16A, Rain-X RX30226 & Rain-X RX30216 and Michelin 8526 Stealth & Michelin 8516 Stealth. The only tool needed to install the new wiper blades is a small flat head screwdriver or a plastic pry bar tool. |

Pull Down Old Wiper Blade |
The first step is
to lift the windshield wiper arm off the window until it remains in the
raised position by itself. Then gently pry open the rectangular black plastic lock tab at the center of the old wiper blade with a small flathead screwdriver. Pull the plastic mount in the center of the old blade down and out of the metal hook at the end of the wiper arm. |
||
Rotate Perpendicular |
Pass Hook Through Blade |
Towel - Protect Window |
Rotate the old
wiper blade away from the wiper arm until it is almost perpendicular. Pass the metal hook at the end of the metal wiper arm through the opening in the old wiper blade. Place a towel on the windshield to protect the glass from being cracked, shattered, chipped, or scratched just in case the metal wiper arm smacks down on the window while you are replacing the wiper blade. I'd recommend buying the Bosch 26A and Bosch 16A wiper blades since they have great reviews on Amazon. |

Line Up New Wiper Blade |
Pass Hook Through Opening |
Pull Mount In To Hook |
Line up the new
wiper blade with the metal wiper arm with the rubber blade facing up and
away from the car. Pass the metal hook through the opening in the center of the new wiper blade. Rotate the new wiper blade until it is almost parallel with the wiper arm. |

Snap Closed Lock Tab |
Lower Wiper To Window |
Pull the plastic
mounting bracket in the center of the new wiper blade up and in to the metal
hook at the end of the wiper arm. Swing the locking tab closed and gently snap it back in to place. Carefully lower the wiper arm down to the windshield. For the best wiper performance, I'd recommend thoroughly cleaning off the windshield and applying a window treatment product such as Rain-X or Zaino Bros Glass Polish. For more,
