This
automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist
owners of the second generation (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and maybe
also the updated 2017 model year) Ford Fusion sedan in changing a
burnt out fog light bulb located in the front bumper fascia cover. Owners of other Ford or Lincoln vehicles such as the Focus, Fiesta, C-Max, Mustang, Escape, Transit Connect, Edge, Flex, Explorer, Expedition, Taurus, F-150, EcoSport, MKC, MKZ, MKS, MKX, MKT and the Navigator may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. A replacement halogen bulb is part number H11 which is available from various manufacturers such as Sylvania, GE, Eiko and PIAA. If you would like to have brighter fog lights, install some compatible H11 LED bulbs. No tools are required to access and replace the fog light bulbs. |

Plastic Fastener Removed |
Remove 2nd Thumb Screw |
Remove 3rd Fastener |
To access the fog
light bulbs, you will have to go in behind the black plastic wheel well
liner. The first step is to turn the steering wheel all the way in the opposite direction of the burnt out fog light bulb. Turning the front wheels will create more working room in the wheel well. Locate the three black plastic fasteners along the outer edge of the wheel well liner or "splash guard" in front of the tire. Loosen the three plastic thumb screws by turning them counterclockwise. Once the thumb screws have been loosened a few turns, you can pry out the base of the fasteners. |
