This automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the sixth generation "B16" (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012) Nissan Sentra sedan in changing the front windshield window wiper blades.

Owners of other Nissan vehicles such as the Versa, Cube, Altima, Maxima, Leaf, Pathfinder, 370Z, Juke, Rogue, Xterra, Murano and Quest may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful.

Replacement blades for the 07-12 Sentra with their sizes in inches are as follows: Driver Side 26" and Passenger Side 17".

A few sets of compatible blades with their part numbers include the following: Bosch 26-CA & Bosch 17-CA, Rain-X 5079281-1 & Rain-X 5079283-1 and Trico 26-1 & Trico 17-1.

No tools are needed to change the wiper blades.

Pull Old Blade Off Arm
The first step is to lift the wiper arm off the windshield until it stays in the raised position by itself.

Place a towel on the windshield to protect the glass from being shattered, cracked or chipped just in case the metal wiper arm slaps down on to the window while you are replacing the blade.

Rotate the old blade away from the wiper arm at a slight angle.

Press the small black plastic release tab at the bottom of the mounting bracket in towards the metal wiper arm.

Slide the old wiper blade down off the metal hook at the end of the wiper arm.

Rotate the blade until it perpendicular with the arm and pull it off.

Lower Wiper Arm To Glass
Rotate the wiper blade parallel with the wiper arm.

Firmly pull the wiper blade up to slide the mounting bracket in to the hook.

Make sure that the new wiper blade is locked in to place.

Gently lower the wiper arm back down to the windshield.

For the best wiper performance, thoroughly clean off the windshield and apply a window treatment product such as Rain-X or Zaino Glass Polish.
