I joined some friends for dinner last night at the Yu-Mi Sushi Japanese Restaurant & Cafe located at 2800 North Military Trail in West Palm Beach, FL 33409.
We ordered a sushi “boat” platter for two people with a variety of sushi rolls and sashimi (fresh raw fish pieces) to share amongst the three of us at a cost of about $40. I really enjoyed all of the selections on the platter, with the crunchy tempura roll being everyone’s favorite. The tuna, salmon, and other sashimi pieces tasted very fresh and were perfect bite sized pieces.
For dessert, we ordered the Tempura Ice Cream and Tempura Banana. Both are fried and served with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. It goes without saying that they disappeared from the table quickly.
The total cost of the meal was $54 which was reduced by using a $30 South Florida Dines certificate that cost $15 to purchase.
Overall, we really enjoyed the experience and I would recommend the Yu-Mi Sushi Japanese Restaurant & Cafe to other sushi lovers in the West Palm Beach, Lake Worth, Greenacres, or Palm Beach Gardens area.
