New 3D Printers @ CES 2016 In Las Vegas, Nevada – Videos

We were fortunate enough to attend the Consumer Electronics Show or “CES” this January 2016 in Las Vegas, NV. One of the highlights of the show was all of the awesome 3D Printers on display.

I loved seeing all of the different methods for 3D printing including selective laser melting (SLM), selective laser sintering (SLS), fused filament fabrication (FFF) and also fused deposition modeling (FDM).

Some of the 3D Printer manufacturers we saw at CES 2016 included EnvisionTec, FormLabs, Lulzbot, Weistek, MiniToy, Robo R1, 3D Star, Altair, FabPob, Dremel, GlowForge and Flux.

A lot of the 3D printed items on display were toys, custom cell phone cases or little statues, but we also saw thing like dentures, dental implants and even custom superhero figures with your face on the doll. 🙂

I’m hoping that one day I’ll be able to get an affordable 3D printer and print my own replacement parts for things like my R/C car, quadcopter (drone) or dog toys rather than having to wait days for it to be shipped to me.

Check out my videos of the 3D printers at CES 2016 below. Enjoy!
