We went to the Taste of the Palm Beaches last year with a group of friends and had a great time. There was such a wide variety of gourmet food, fine wine, micro brew beer, and desserts to try. It was well worth the price of admission especially since all the proceeds go to the Big Heart Brigade charity. Sofa City Fire – Lake Havasu City
During our trip to Lake Havasu City, we witnessed a fire at the Sofa City Furniture Store across the street from the Ramada Inn. Copper Canyon is one of the most popular places for boaters to gather and mingle during events such as Spring Break or during any long holiday weekend (Labor Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Etc.). Months after our annual membership expired, we heard about the “Free Sundays” at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in the month of August. The pictures from this visit are from the less traveled areas of the Fairchild Garden, which contain more of the local wildlife.

The old Honeywell analog mercury switch thermostat in our home was becoming inaccurate after years of use. Coral Castle Museum – Homestead, FL
The Coral Castle is an amazing feat of engineering and determination that was constructed by one small Latvian immigrant named Ed. Everything including the “furniture” was carved out of giant blocks of compressed coral dug out of the ground.
