| Nature enthusiasts will love exploring the western side of Little Talbot Island and the various habitats such as maritime forests, salt marshes, and desert sand dunes. A few of the animals that can be seen on the island include native birds, marsh rabbits, gopher tortoise, snakes, bobcats, and river otters. | ||||

| Unfortunately, swimming at Little Talbot Island is not recommended due to the abrupt bottom drop off a short distance from the beach and the strong water currents in the area. | ||||
