The Museum
of Science & History, A.K.A. the "MOSH", is located in downtown JAX
near the Southbank Riverwalk area at 1025 Museum Circle,
Jacksonville, FL 32207. Visitors are welcome at the museum Monday through Thursday from 10 AM to 5 PM, Fridays 10AM-8PM, Saturday 10AM-6PM and on Sundays from 1PM-6PM. To reach the staff by phone for more information, call (904) 396 MOSH [6674]. Admission prices are $10 for adults, $8 for kids 3-12 years of age, and $8.50 for seniors or military. To save half off the normal ticket price, visit the museum on $5 Fridays. We were fortunate enough to visit this popular attraction for free thanks to the Bank of America "Museums On Us" program. All you need is a BOA credit or debit card to visit 150+ museums, botanical gardens, zoos, and science centers across the USA for free during the first weekend of each month. |

Some of the exhibits on display at the JAX MOSH include the Universe of Science, Our St. Johns River, The Shell (1,000+ shells), The Body Within, Water Worlds, Currents of Time, Atlantic Tails, Aqua Expo, Savage Ancient Seas, the Bryan Gooding Planetarium, and the Florida Naturalist's Center. | ||

The MOSH also hosts a few events such as a Lego competition, the Bella Luna "Dessert Under The Stars" event, guest lecture series, and MOSH After Dark. |
