I just launched my new site that showcases all of the photos from our month long stay on Isla Margarita, which is the largest island in the Venezuelan state of Nueva Esparta. Our home for the month was a vacation rental at the Bahia Del Sol condominium tower in the city of Porlamar. We visited almost all of the island’s many beaches including Playa El Agua, Playa Parguito and Playa El Yaque (a popular windsurfing & kite surfing destination). We visited the Palm Beach Zoo at Dreher Park this past weekend. Our membership to the ZSF (Zoological Society of Florida) through the Miami MetroZoo gave us a 50% discount on the admission price of $12.95 per adult.The Palm Beach Zoo has about 1,700 animals contained within its 23 acres.
