If you need to manually move your second generation (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019) Kia Soul due to a weak or dead 12V battery, running out of gasoline or some other mechanical problem, you will first need to release the shift lock mechanism to shift the gear selector from “Park” to “Neutral”.
