This
automotive "how-to" guide was specifically written to assist owners
of the 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016 GM Chevrolet Traverse crossover
SUV in replacing the vanity mirror light bulbs in the front
passenger sunshades or upgrading them to
brighter LED units. Owners of other General Motors vehicles from GMC, Saturn, Buick, and Cadillac such as the Acadia, Terrain, Sierra, Yukon, Savana, Outlook, Verano, Regal, Lacrosse, Encore, Enclave, Spark, Sonic, Cruze, Malibu, Impala, Camaro, Equinox, Tahoe, Suburban, Colorado, Avalanche, Silverado, ATS, XTS, CTS, SRX, and Escalade may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. A few compatible replacement vanity mirror light bulbs with their part numbers: ACDelco 13502343, 6614F, TS-14V1CP and Eiko 40842 - 6614F. (They resemble small cartridges or old style fuses.) The only tool needed to replace the bulbs is a small flathead screwdriver used to pry out the translucent plastic lens cover. |

Pry Out Old Vanity Bulb |
Insert the blade of
the flathead screwdriver in between the white translucent plastic lens cover
and the light housing. If you'd like to protect the surfaces from scratches, cover the blade of the screwdriver with a thin cloth. Gently pry out the lens cover and set it aside in a safe place. |

Push In New Vanity Bulb |

Pull out the old
bulb with your fingers or gently pry it out at one of the metal ends with
the screwdriver. Push in a new ACDelco 13502343 vanity mirror light bulb into the socket. You can also use any other miniature "fuse" style light bulb such as the 6614F, TS-14V1CP, Eiko 40842 - 6614F or a compatible LED unit. |

Replace Lens Cover |
Snap Into Place |
Line up the white
plastic lens cover and gently snap it into place. For more,
