If the power steering system in your first generation (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006) Acura MDX has been feeling sluggish, pulsates, jerks or the power steering pump has been whining, it may be time to change the power steering fluid. The power steering fluid should also be changed every few years or about every 60,000 miles just as preventative maintenance.
