Admission was $10.00 for adult tickets while children under the age of twelve were allowed in free of charge. The event hours for Thursday to Saturday were from 10AM to 6PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This show was organized by the South Florida RV Dealers group and the Florida RV Trade Association. The FRVTA also hosts a series of recreational vehicle themed events all over the sunshine state.

We're years or possibly decades away from buying a motorhome but I've always been fond of the idea of traveling across the USA in a self contained house on wheels.

The WPB RV show was a great experience since we were able to examine the layouts, features and advantages of many RV's without having to visit various dealerships or give our contact information to sales associates.

After seeing a few of the smaller Class C motorhomes in person I feel much more confident that I can handle driving one most anywhere in the United States or Canada.

We were able to sneak a peek into truck campers, conversion vans, fifth wheel trailers, Class B, Class A, and a few of the "Fun Mover" big boy toy haulers.

Besides this show in West Palm Beach, the F.R.V.T.A. also organizes other events in Fort Lauderdale (Broward County Convention Center), Pensacola, Jacksonville, the Treasure Coast (St. Lucie County Fairgrounds - Fort Pierce), Tampa (Florida RV SuperShow), Fort Myers (Lee Civic Center), Ocala (Florida Horse Park), and DeLand (Volusia County Fairgrounds).

Some of the Florida RV dealers in attendance at the show included Copley's RV Center (Hobe Sound), Travel Easy RV (Okeechobee), American Van & Camper (Deerfield Beach), Great Time RV (Palm Beach Gardens), Al's Motorhomes (Ft. Pierce), Florida Outdoors RV Center (Stuart), CJ's RV Town (Hobe Sound), Motor Home Superstore (Vero Beach), RV Sales of Broward (West Palm Beach), Tropical RV Sales (Fort Pierce), Interstate RV (Fort Pierce) and Palm Beach RV.

A few of the companies vying for the attention of the RV enthusiasts in attendance included A Twin Peaks RV Insurance, Design Concept Builders, Porta-Bote International, Rically Enterprises, Thousand Trails, The Healthy Gourment, Silver Palms RV Village, Passport America, Lazy Days RV Supercenter, J&M Enterprises, Excel Fleet Service, Elite Resorts of America, Accurate RV Inspectors, American RV & Marine, Apple Island Resort, Bluegreen Corp. and Custom Colors Coach & RV.

The RV dealerships present at the show had representative products from many of the top manufacturers.
