| All of us serious
meat eaters can choose from a mouth watering selection of traditional
Argentinean cuts of beef, chicken, pork and sausages. When you walk up to
the grill, you can order in English, Spanish or just point to what you want. Just a few of the cuts typically eaten in Argentina include vacio (flank steak), tira de asado (cross cut chuck ribs), matambre (very think flank steak), mollejas (sweetbreads a.k.a. veal thymus gland), rinones (kidneys), tapa de asado (brisket), tapa de nalga (top round roast), ubre (udder), bife de chorizo (NY strip steak), lomo (tenderloin), entrana (skirt steak), cuadril (rump roast), chinchulin (lower intestines), bife de costilla (t-bone steak), bife angosto (porterhouse), chorizo (sausage), and my personal favorite morcilla (blood sausage). Save some room for dessert because The Knife has a very tempting dessert cart. A few of the tastiest treats are the flan, budin de pan (bread pudding), the natural fruit cocktail, crepes with milk caramel spread (dulce de leche), borgona pears, Italian style tiramisu, baked apples, rice pudding and ice cream. There are five "The Knife" locations in South
Florida including in Sunrise, Hallandale, Coconut Grove, Bayside, and Doral.
I highly recommend this restaurant for any true meat eating enthusiast. Try
to arrive early to beat the crowds since people from Argentina tend to eat
dinner late and take a long time.
