What did I win?

So a few weeks ago I found an invitation to the "Text Win Repeat Sweepstakes" in my junk mail. It is being held by the Phillip Morris USA company.

I must have been added to their mailing list when I took a short survey one night out in downtown Fort Lauderdale in exchange for a free Zippo lighter. I eventually sold the lighter on eBay since I had no use for it.

The grand prize in this sweepstakes is a Dodge Charger SRT-8 sports sedan which features a 6.1 liter Hemi V8 engine (425HP), suede trimmed leather seats, 6 disc CD changer mp3 stereo, 276 watt amp, 200 watt subwoofer, 11 speakers, and a GPS navigation system.

There are a total of 1,440 prizes available to be won from 8/1/07 to 8/31/07 in the categories of "Sight", "Sound", and "Flavor".

The sweepstakes is only open to people in the USA who received the invitation by mail and you can enter either by using a SMS text message or by using their internet website. I have my account set up to send me a daily email reminder to log in and click the entry button. I'm fairly sure that this is the first prize I've ever won in a sweepstakes or contest. I'm glad that I won the BBQ tool set, which I can actually use, since a lot of the other prizes would have probably gone right on eBay. If I won the grand prize Dodge Charger SRT-8 car, I'd probably just sell it since they don't offer a cash value equivalent payout and I'd rather use the money for trips. Well, I'm off to go enter some more sweepstakes using my Roboform form filler software and see if this winning streak will continue.
