|The park admission fees are $10 per vehicle or $5 for cyclists and pedestrians. Admission receipts are valid at all park entrances for 7 consecutive days. You can also purchase an annual pass for just $25.|
|The most commonly
sighted animals at Shark Valley include American alligators, herons, egrets,
anhinga "snake birds", and turtles.
Other species present in the Everglades include the American crocodile, West Indian manatee, gray fox, river otters, Florida panthers, white tailed deer, opossums, raccoons, bobcats, marsh rabbits, falcons, sparrows, snakes, wood storks, domestic pigs, striped skunk, coati, black bear, red fob, bats, armadillos, squirrels and shrews.
