We entered Parnell at Dove Myer Robinson Park which has an excellent view of the city's skyline, the waterfront district and the Auckland Port.

From there we continued on through Dove Myer Robinson Park to the fragrant collection of flowers in the Parnell Rose Garden and also the Nancy Steen Garden.

Finally we walked along the main passageway through the suburb known as Parnell Rise or Parnell Road to admire the revitalized "Parnell Village" area and the antique buildings constructed in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
