This
automotive "how-to" guide was specifically written to assist owners
of the 1st generation (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, & 2013) Nissan
Rogue in changing a burnt out vanity mirror light bulb in the sun
shades or upgrading them both to brighter LED units. Owners of other Nissan or Infiniti vehicles such as the Versa, Cube, Sentra, Altima, LEAF, Maxima, Juke, Murano, Xterra, Pathfinder, Armada, Quest, Frontier, Titan, 370Z, G37, M37, EX37, FX37, JX35, and QX56 may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. There is no part number listed in the owner's manual, just that the bulb is a 12V 2W. Some compatible replacement miniature "fuse" type bulbs include ACDelco part number 13502343, Eiko 40842 - 6614F, Bulbrite 756320 - 6614F, Putco 230003 LED and 6614F. The only tool needed to change the bulbs is a small flathead screwdriver used to pry out the plastic lens cover. |

Carefully Pry Out Bulb |
Insert the blade of
the small flathead screwdriver in to the notch at the bottom of the
translucent plastic vanity mirror light bulb lens cover.
Gently pry out the cover and set it aside in a safe place. |

Old Bulb Removed |
Push In New Bulb |

Either pull out the
old bulb with your fingers or carefully pry it out at one of the metal ends
with the screwdriver.
Do not apply pressure on the glass part of the bulb with the screwdriver since it will shatter. Push a new fuse type bulb such as the ACDelco 13502343, a TS-14V1CP or a 6614F bulb straight in to the socket. Since the mirror cover is open, the new bulb should illuminate immediately. If you are installing an LED bulb and it doesn't work at first, try flipping it around in the socket. |
