Tail Light Bulbs Replacement Guide
How to replace a burnt out brake, turn
signal or reverse bulb in the tail lights of a 2004-2015 Nissan Armada SUV.

| This
automotive "how-to" guide was specifically written to assist owners
of the 1st generation (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010,
2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015) Nissan Armada in changing a burnt out
brake, turn signal and reverse bulb in the tail light assemblies. Owners of other Nissan or Infiniti vehicles such as the Versa, Cube, Sentra, Altima, LEAF, Maxima, 370Z, Juke, Rogue, Murano, Xterra, Pathfinder, Quest, Frontier, Titan, QX56, Q50, G37, EX37, QX60, FX37, FX50 and QX80 may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. Replacement bulbs with their part numbers are as follows: Brake # 3157, Turn Signal # 3156 and Reverse # 921. The tools needed to replace the tail light bulbs include a 10mm socket, an extension bar, a 1/4" drive ratchet and possibly a small flathead screwdriver. |

 Remove 10mm Screw |

 Gently Pry Off Tail Light |
| The first two steps
are to open the cargo tailgate and move to the side of the vehicle with the
burnt out tail light bulb. Then loosen the two screws on the black plastic interior edge of the tail light assembly with a 10mm socket and ratcheting wrench. Set the two screws aside in a safe place. Gently pull the tail light assembly away from the rear of the vehicle. If you have trouble removing the housing, carefully use a small flathead screwdriver to pry it off and disengage the two friction fasteners that hold it in place. |

| Turn the tail light
housing over to reveal the three bulb sockets. The black Turn Signal bulb socket is located at the top, the green Brake light bulb socket is in the middle and the black/grey Reverse bulb socket is at the bottom of the assembly. |

 1/4 Turn Counter Clockwise |
 Remove Bulb Socket |
 Pull Out Old # 3156 Bulb |
| Rotate the black
turn signal bulb socket 1/4 turn counter clockwise and pull it straight out
of the housing. Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket and push in a new # 3156 bulb. |

 Re-Insert Bulb Socket |
 1/4 Turn Clockwise |
 Brake Light Bulb Socket |
| Re-insert the turn signal bulb socket back in to the housing and rotate 1/4 turn clockwise to lock it in to place. | ||
 1/4 Turn Counter Clockwise |
 Pull Out Old # 3157 Bulb |
 1/4 Turn Clockwise |
| Rotate the green
brake light bulb socket 1/4 turn counter clockwise and pull it straight out
of the housing. Pull the old brake light bulb straight out of the socket and push in a new # 3157 bulb. Re-insert the socket back in to the housing and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to secure it in place. |

 # 921 - 12V W15W |
| Rotate the smaller
black/gray reverse bulb socket 1/4 turn counter clockwise and pull it
straight out of the housing. Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket and push in a new # 921 bulb. If you would like to have brighter reverse lights, install some 921 LED bulbs. |

 Line Up Pegs & Holes |
 Push Tail Light In Place |
| Re-insert the
socket in to the housing and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to secure it in
place. Line up the two pegs or "spikes" on the rear of the tail light housing with their corresponding holes in the corner of the vehicle. Gently push the tail light housing back in to place until it rests flush with the corner of the vehicle. |

 Tighten Lower 10mm Bolt |
 Tighten Upper 10mm Screw |
 Test New Tail Light Bulbs |
| Re-insert the two
screws and tighten them until they are snug with the 10mm socket and
ratcheting wrench. Do not over tighten the screws to avoid cracking the plastic on the tail light assembly. Test the new tail light bulbs by having someone step on the brakes, activate the hazard signals and place the transmission in reverse. For more,
