This
automotive "how-to" guide was specifically written to assist owners
of the 1st generation (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010,
2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015) Nissan Armada in changing a burnt out
map light bulb in the overhead console. Owners of other Nissan or Infiniti vehicles such as the Versa, Cube, Sentra, Altima, LEAF, Maxima, 370Z, Juke, Rogue, Murano, Xterra, Pathfinder, Quest, Frontier, Titan, QX56, Q50, G37, EX37, QX60, FX37, FX50 and QX80 may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. A replacement map light bulb is part number DE3175 from manufacturers such as Sylvania, GE, Eiko and PIAA. The only tool needed to replace the map light bulbs is a small flathead screwdriver used to pry out the plastic lens cover. |

You may choose to
cover the tip of the flathead screwdriver with a thin micro fiber cloth to
help prevent from scratching the plastic surfaces. Insert the blade of the small flathead screwdriver in between the inner rear corner of the lens cover and the overhead console. Gently pry out the lens cover and set it aside in a safe place. Grasp the old bulb with your thumb and forefinger before pulling it straight out of the socket. |

Press White On/Off Button |
Push a new "festoon" style number DE3175 bulb straight in to the socket. If you are installing an LED bulb and it doesn't work at first, try flipping it around 180 degrees in the socket. Test the new bulb by pressing the white plastic On/Off button located at the outer corner of the light housing. |

Line up the lens
cover over the light bulb housing.
Insert the tab at the outer corner in first and then gently snap the inner edge in place. Double check that the map light bulbs work properly by pressing the On/Off buttons. For more,
