Headlight Bulbs Replacement Guide
How to change a low beam, high beam, turn
signal or front side marker bulb in a 2004-2015 Nissan Armada SUV.

This
automotive "how-to" guide was specifically written to assist owners
of the first generation (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010,
2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015) Nissan Armada in changing a burnt out
low beam, high beam, turn signal or front side marker light bulbs in
the headlight housings. Owners of other Nissan or Infiniti vehicles such as the Versa, Cube, Sentra, Altima, LEAF, Maxima, 370Z, Juke, Rogue, Murano, Xterra, Pathfinder, Quest, Frontier, Titan, QX56, Q50, G37, EX37, QX60, FX37, FX50 and QX80 may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. Replacement headlight bulbs with their part numbers are as follows: Low Beam # 9006, High Beam # 9005, Turn Signal # 3457 and Front Side Marker # 194 (or 168, W5W, 2825). The only tool needed to change any of the bulbs is a standard Phillips head screwdriver. |

All four of the
bulbs in the headlight assembly can be accessed by going in through the
wheel well liner or "splash guard". Use a standard sized Phillips head screwdriver to remove the three screws along the outer edge of the wheel well liner by turning them counter clockwise. |

Then remove the
fourth Phillips head screw located about two inches in from the edge and
just in front of the tire.
Set the four screws aside in a safe place. |

Pull back the black plastic wheel well liner to access the four light bulb sockets. | ||

1/4 Turn Counter Clockwise |
The Low Beam
bulb is located at the bottom outer corner of the headlight assembly and it
has a black base with a light grey power plug. Pry up on the power connector's clip with your finger and slide it straight off the base of the old bulb. |

Rotate the base of the old low beam bulb 1/4 turn counter clockwise and pull it straight out of the housing. | ||

Push On Power Connector |
Avoid touching the
glass part of the new low beam bulb with your fingers or anything greasy in
the engine bay. If you do get the bulb dirty, wipe it clean with an alcohol
moistened paper towel. Insert a new # 9006 low beam bulb in to the socket and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to secure it in place. Push the power connector straight on to the base of the new bulb until it clicks in to place. |

The High Beam
bulb is located at the bottom inner corner of the headlight assembly. Gently pry up the locking clip on the high beam bulb's power connector and slide it straight off. |

Rotate the base of the old bulb 1/4 turn counter clockwise and pull it straight out of the headlight housing. | ||

Light Grey/Black Socket |
Insert a new #
9005 high beam bulb in to the socket and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to lock it
in place. The Turn Signal light bulb is located at the top middle section of the headlight housing. Rotate the light grey and black turn signal bulb socket 1/4 turn counter clockwise and pull it straight out. |

Pull Out # 3457 Bulb |
1/4 Turn Clockwise |
Pull the old turn
signal bulb straight out of the socket and push in a new clear glass #
3457 bulb. Re-insert the socket in to the housing and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to secure it in place. |

1/4 Turn Counter Clockwise |
The Front Side
Marker bulb is located at the upper outer corner of the headlight
housing. The small black bulb socket is situated right next to the turn
signal bulb socket. Rotate the socket 1/4 turn counter clockwise and pull it straight out. Pull the old side marker bulb straight out of the socket and push in a new # 194 bulb. You can also use any other miniature wedge base bulb such as the # 168, W5W, 2825 or a brighter LED bulb. |

Replace Wheel Splash Guard |
Re-insert the side
marker bulb socket in to the housing and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to
secure it in place. Test the new bulbs by turning on the headlights, flashing the high beams and activating the hazard signals. If all the bulbs are working properly, push the black plastic wheel well liner back in to place. |

Tighten the three
Phillips head screws along the outer edge of the wheel well liner and the
fourth screw located about two inches further in. For more,
