| Moonfest '08
was the 17th occurrence of this annual event that was founded in 1993.
It was held on Clematis Street in Downtown West Palm Beach in between
Centennial Square and Rosemary Avenue. This year's Moonfest Halloween street party took place on Saturday, October 25th 2008 from 4 PM to 1 AM. It is a not-for-profit festival and admission was free to the public. About fourteen thousand people attended Moonfest in 2007. Some of the features of Moonfest 2008 included live bands, circus acts, a fashion show, carnival rides, midway games, merchandise vendors, food, a drum circle, a laser light show, a haunted house, live DJ's, and a screening of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" outside of the Cuillo Centre for the Arts. There were also costume contests for dogs, kids, and adults held on the main Moonfest stage with cash prizes. |

| We spent most of our time at Moonfest 2008 inside of the Dr. Feelgoods Rock Bar & Grill but I did hear some of the live musical acts playing. A few of the bands that performed included The Young Punks, The Sleeparounds, Coexist Scientist, Spread the Dub, Viva Le Vox, Kill Miss Pretty, Fire Zuave, Dharmata, Gloccamorra, The Notary, and the Paper Dolls. | ||
