| While traveling in the drive through safari section of the zoo, visitors can listen to an educational CD that lists the animals and explains a bit about each of them. | ||||

| The preserve is split into sections named after the origins of the animals that inhabit them including Las Pampas (South American grasslands), Ruaha National Park (African wilderness), Kalahari Bushveldt (African dry plateau), Gir Forest (Indian national park), the Gorongosa (Mozambique African wildlife area), Serengeti Plains (east African wildlife area), and the Hwange National Park (reserve in western Zimbabwe). | ||||

| Some of the animal species represented in the drive through preserve include the African Lion, Wildebeest, Ostrich, Giraffe, White-Handed Gibbon, Chimpanzee, Grant's Zebra, Southern White Rhinoceros, Llama, South American Tapir, Aldabra Tortoise, Greater Kudu, Gemsbok, Asiatic Water Buffalo, Blackbuck, Kulan, Blackbuck, Mouflon, and Watusi. | ||||

| In the walk through Safari World amusement park, you can admire more animals including the African Crested Porcupine, Spider Monkey, Siamang, Pygmy Goat, Oberhasli Goat, Miniature Sicillian Donkey, Dall's Sheep, Squirrel Monkey, Asian Potbellied Pig, African Spurred Tortoise, Green Iguana, Florida King Snake, Burmese Python, American Alligator, Macaw, Lory, Lorikket bird, Caribbean Flamingo, and Amazon Parrot. | ||||
