Windshield Wiper Blades Replacement Guide
How to change the windshield window wiper
blades on a 3rd generation 2005 to 2010 Honda Odyssey minivan.

automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist
owners of the third generation (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010)
Honda Odyssey minivan in changing the windshield window wiper
blades. Owners of other Honda or Acura vehicles such as the Accord, Civic, Crosstour, CR-V, CR-Z, HR-V, Fit, Element, Insight, Pilot, Ridgeline, Clarity, Crosstour, Elysion, ILX, TSX, TLX, TL, RLX, RDX, NSX and MDX may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. The OEM wiper blade sizes in inches are as follows: Driver Side 26" and Passenger Side 22". A few compatible replacement wiper blades with their part numbers are as follows: Bosch 26A & Bosch 22B, Rain-X 5079281-2 & Rain-X 5079279-2, Michelin 8026 & Michelin 8022, Aero 26" + 22", Anco 31-26 & Anco 31-22 and PIAA 95065 & PIAA 95055. No tools are needed to replace the wiper blades. |

| The first step is
to lift the wiper arm off the windshield until it remains in the raised
position by itself. Then rotate the old wiper blade away from the wiper arm at a slight angle. Locate the small black plastic tab at the center of the old wiper blade. Push the tab in towards the wiper arm to release the old wiper blade. |

| Slide the old wiper
blade down to remove the mounting bracket from the metal hook at the end of
the wiper arm. Lift the old wiper blade off the metal wiper arm. I recommend buying the Bosch 26A and Bosch 22B wiper blades since they have excellent reviews on Amazon. |

| Line up the new
wiper blade with the wiper arm. The rubber blade should be pointing out away from the windshield. Pass the metal hook at the end of the wiper arm through the upper opening in the middle of the wiper blade. Pull the wiper blade up until the mounting bracket clicks securely into the metal hook at the end of the wiper arm. |

| Double check that
the new wiper blade is securely attached to the wiper arm. For the best wiper performance, I recommend thoroughly cleaning off the windshield and applying a glass treatment product that will repel water such as Rain-X. For more, check out all of my
