| The Gator
Gallop is an annual two mile "fun run" that takes place along the
UF
Homecoming Parade route just before the main event begins at noon. Registration for the Gator Gallop begins at 9:15 AM the day of the race at Percy Beard Track. Day-of-race registration costs $15 per person. Participants also have the option of pre-registering at the Florida Blue Key office or online for just $10. Pre-registration ends 2-3 days before the race. The Florida Blue Key office can be reached by phone at 352-273-0829. Inline skaters and participants in wheelchairs begin at 11:15 AM. Runners and walkers get started at 11:30 AM. The race begins at Percy Beard Track at Pressly Stadium, continues along University Avenue and ends at SW 13th Ave. near the Alpha Tau Omega & Phi Delta Theta houses. |
