During my trip to
Gainesville in May 2006, I decided to take a quick driving tour around
the University of Florida. I was a Gator myself for about four years and a summer. Most of my friends were on the five or six year plans and I regret finishing on the traditional four year plan. The University of Florida is the state's oldest, and largest public education facility for higher learning. Over 45,000 students temporarily call Gainesville Florida home while they attend UF and become Gators for life. With over two thousand acres of land and about nine hundred buildings, University of Florida is one of the five largest education facilities in the USA. |
