The interior fuse
box is located under the front passenger dashboard.
Flip open the dark grey plastic cover to access the fuses. Use the fuse diagram on the underside of the cover or the one in the owner's manual. (The fuse puller tool is in the engine bay fuse box, or you could use a pair of needle nose pliers.) The engine bay fuse box is located at the left rear corner of the engine bay closest to the front passenger seat. The black plastic top cover is held in place by three plastic clips that need to be firmly pushed inwards to release them. You may be able to release them by pushing with your finger or you may need the help of a flathead screwdriver. |

Lift off the top
cover of the engine bay fuse box and locate the white plastic fuse puller
tool near a silver Phillips head screw. Remove the fuse puller tool by pinching the exposed end and lifting it up. Use the fuse diagram on the underside of the fuse box cover or the one in the owner's manual to locate the fuse you need to check or replace. |

Hold Fuse To Light Source |
To remove a fuse,
pinch the larger end of the fuse puller tool and place it over the plastic
top of a fuse. Release some pressure on the end of the fuse puller tool and pull the fuse straight out. Hold the old fuse up to a light source. If the thin metal strip inside the plastic center of the fuse appears to be broken or shriveled up, the fuse is "blown" and needs to be replaced. If the metal bar inside the fuse appears to be intact, the fuse should be good and your electrical problem may have a different source. Since fuses are so inexpensive, it should still be replaced as part of your troubleshooting process. |
